How would you like your Merlin IIB to cruise up to 255kts while gaining single engine performance, climb performance, and hot day/high density altitude performance??? Well National Flight Services has the modification for you! National Flights compressor section modification for TPE331-1-151G's replaces the old style, 665hp compressor section with a newer style, 840hp compressor. Not only does this allow your -1 to breath better, it gives you 665hp at higher altitudes, one of the benefits of our Super One Conversion.
  • Applies to the Merlin IIB!
  • Increased air speed at high altitudes  - Up to 255kts!
  • Increased climb by up to 30%!
  • Incorporates a modern compressor configuration!
  • Improved hot day – high-density altitude performance!
  • Improved single engine service ceiling from 9,500ft to 16,000ft!
  • Less thermal distress - increased cooling!
  • Reduced maintenance costs at scheduled inspection intervals!
  • Turns the Merlin IIB into the least expensive 255kt turboprop in it's cabin class!
  • Faster and less expensive to purchase and operate than a stock King Air 90 with the same cabin!

The modification can be added at anytime and is a great addition at either hot section or overhaul intervals. Contact one of our four service center locations for more information!
